BUDAKA** — Police in Bukedi North Region have arrested a private security guard in connection with the alleged shooting of a client at Sky Financial Services in Budaka Town.
The suspect, identified as **Isaac Ochen**, is attached to Alpha Guard Security Company. The victim has been identified as **Kuchana Adams**.

According to police, the incident occurred following an altercation at the financial services premises on Saturday, during which Ochen allegedly shot Adams.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the left hand and was rushed to Budaka General Clinic, where he received first aid.
A team of investigators led by D/ASP Angura Francis Leonard and ASP Kamurari John visited the scene to document evidence. The team also included Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) D/Sgt Naikesa Sarah, Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) personnel and other uniformed officers.
Bukedi North Regional Police spokesperson Wilfred Kyempasa said officers recovered the firearm allegedly used in the shooting, together with one cartridge, from the scene.
The suspect was arrested and is being held at Budaka Central Police Station as investigations continue.
Police have opened a case of attempted murder and are working to establish the circumstances that led to the shooting.
Kyempasa confirmed the incident and said further details would be released as investigations progress.
