RB Leipzig have rejected Liverpool’s latest offer for Yan Diomandé, with the Bundesliga club making it clear that a package worth €100 million is not enough to secure the forward’s signature this summer.
Liverpool’s proposal, understood to be worth €90 million plus €10 million in add-ons, was turned down as Leipzig remain determined to keep one of their most valuable assets. Club officials are reportedly seeking a fee in excess of €100 million, with figures around €120 million emerging as a potential benchmark.

Diomandé’s impressive performances at the Club World Cup have only strengthened Leipzig’s negotiating position, while growing interest from across Europe could further drive up his price.
Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs expected to enter the race, with several other top sides also monitoring the situation. Leipzig believe increased competition for the player’s signature could help them maximize any future transfer fee.
For now, Leipzig remain in control of negotiations and have shown no intention of lowering their demands despite Liverpool’s substantial approach.
