Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a major boost ahead of the Champions League final after Ousmane Dembele confirmed he is fully fit and ready to face Arsenal in Budapest.
The French forward, who had been battling a minor injury concern, revealed he is “100 per cent ready” after spending up to two weeks recovering and regaining full fitness. His return comes as PSG prepare to defend the European crown they won last season.
Dembele insists last year’s triumph has not reduced the squad’s hunger for success. Instead, PSG have embraced a fresh mentality and are determined to make history by retaining the trophy.
“We’ve reset everything,” said Dembele. “We are a young, ambitious squad and we’re not going to sit on our laurels. We’re in it to win it again and we believe we can do it.”
PSG captain Marquinhos echoed that confidence, pointing to the club’s impressive run to the final, which included victories over Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. The Brazilian defender believes those tests have prepared the French champions for whatever challenge Arsenal present.
While Marquinhos praised Mikel Arteta’s work at Arsenal, he stressed that PSG’s experience and determination to remain at the top of European football will be key in the showdown at the Puskas Arena.

With Dembele fit, confidence high and history within reach, PSG head into the final believing they have everything needed to deny Arsenal their first Champions League title and secure back-to-back European crowns.
