The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) has signaled a renewed push toward accountability and effective service delivery following the re-election of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Speaking from ONC headquarters in Kyambogo, Hadijah Namyalo emphasized that the next phase of leadership will prioritize ensuring that government initiatives translate into real improvements in people’s lives. Rather than dwelling on the electoral victory itself, she highlighted the importance of closely tracking flagship programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga to guarantee they achieve their intended impact.
Namyalo underscored that public participation remains critical, calling on citizens to attend the upcoming swearing-in ceremony on 12th May 2026 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds—not just as a celebration, but as a reminder of their role in holding leadership accountable.
She added that the ONC will intensify its oversight role, focusing on monitoring implementation gaps and pushing for measurable outcomes across communities. According to her, the President’s new term presents an opportunity to consolidate gains and address persistent socio-economic challenges through more coordinated and results-driven governance.
