KIGALI** — Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, took part in a friendly game of basketball, highlighting the cordial relations between the two leaders.
The light-hearted session also featured another participant who humorously reflected on his performance, joking that his display on the court could earn him a place in the *Guinness World Records* as “the most disastrous player of all time.”

The friendly game, shared on social media, drew attention for its relaxed atmosphere and camaraderie, with participants using humour to underscore the recreational nature of the encounter.
President Kagame, who is known for his passion for sports and fitness, has on several occasions participated in basketball and other sporting activities as part of promoting healthy living.
Gen. Muhoozi has also consistently advocated for sports as a platform for strengthening friendship, teamwork and regional cooperation.
The basketball session comes amid continued engagement between Uganda and Rwanda aimed at deepening bilateral relations and fostering cooperation across various sectors.
