Hon. Hajjat Aminah Mukalazi has joined fellow Members of Parliament at Speke Resort Munyonyo for an induction seminar aimed at equipping legislators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively carry out their constitutional responsibilities.
The orientation programme is designed to strengthen the capacity of Members of Parliament in legislative work, oversight and representation, while reinforcing principles of good governance, accountability and ethical leadership.
The seminar also provides an opportunity for both newly elected and returning legislators to familiarize themselves with parliamentary procedures and align their work with national development priorities.
By participating in the induction, Hon. Mukalazi joins other lawmakers in preparing for the demands of the new parliamentary term, with a shared commitment to improving legislation, enhancing oversight of government programmes and delivering quality services to Ugandans.
The programme underscores Parliament’s commitment to building a well-equipped legislature capable of responding effectively to the needs and aspirations of the people.
