KAMPALA — Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Manager Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has reminded Bazzukulu and the wider Ugandan public to participate in the national cleaning exercise scheduled for August 29.
Hajjat Namyalo urged members of the public to take part in the exercise, saying community participation is important in promoting cleanliness and improving the condition of public spaces.
The call comes as the country prepares for the President’s general cleaning exercise, which is expected to bring communities together in efforts to maintain cleaner and healthier surroundings.
In her message, Namyalo encouraged Bazzukulu and other Ugandans to take note of the scheduled date and actively participate in activities organised within their communities.
She said citizens should treat the exercise as a shared responsibility rather than leaving the task of maintaining clean communities solely to government authorities.
#Call for community participation
Namyalo’s appeal is focused on encouraging citizens to turn up for the exercise and contribute to cleaning their respective communities.
National cleaning initiatives can provide an opportunity for residents to work together to clear waste, clean public areas and promote responsible waste-management practices.
Community participation is also important in sustaining cleanliness beyond a single exercise.
Residents can contribute by properly disposing of waste, keeping their homes and businesses clean and avoiding practices that lead to the accumulation of rubbish in public spaces.
#Reminder to Bazzukulu
The ONC manager specifically reminded the Bazzukulu to take note of the August 29 exercise and participate.
Her message calls for mobilisation at community level, with citizens encouraged to work together in support of the national initiative.
The appeal also highlights the importance of individual responsibility in maintaining clean surroundings.
#Beyond the cleaning exercise
While the national exercise provides an opportunity to mobilise communities around cleanliness, maintaining a clean environment requires continuous effort.
Proper waste disposal, regular cleaning and responsible use of public spaces are among the practices that can help communities remain clean after organised exercises have ended.
Namyalo’s call therefore encourages citizens to view the August 29 activity as part of a broader responsibility towards their communities.
#Conclusion
Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo has urged Bazzukulu and the entire nation to participate in the President’s general cleaning exercise scheduled for August 29.
She called on Ugandans to take note of the date, mobilise within their communities and contribute to the cleaning activities.
The initiative is expected to provide an opportunity for citizens to work together towards cleaner public spaces while reinforcing the message that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility.
